What sorts of Live Gaming are planned for the con? I want to play some of the Bleach Card Game or other anime related card games, but never get a chance. Would these events be held in the Gamers Cafe or in other areas of the con?

I'll look into this for you. Do you just need table space to play and a set time on the schedule, or is it necessary for someone to actually oversee the game? Sorry, but I don't have experience with live gaming at cons, so I'm not familiar with the typical set-up or format.

I like Live Gaming. They have tables and some games available either through Demos or through tournaments. You can go through the Card and Board Gaming companies for Demos. I don't know if it is too late for this year, but talk to one of the local Gaming Stores (GAme Parlor being the local store to the con with a couple of locations) or Gaming Club of Virginia (www.novag.org). The games that would be of most interest for Demos would be the Bleach CCG, Yu-Gi-Oh CCG, Big Eyes, Small Mouth, Fruits Basket CCG, Naruto CCG and Munchkin Fu. I can get you contacts or webpages where you can request demos and tournaments. They usually plan tournaments ahead of time. If you are interested in contacts for the major gaming companies, please PM me off list.

We won't be supplying TCG or CCG at this convention, Although Rene might have someone locally doing this at the event.

In terms of "Live Gaming" Sleeping Samurai will be at this show and they will provide lots of AMT Guard and Bushido Battles. I will be teaching a Kendo Seminar at the convention as well for all of you that want to get better at AMT Guard.
