Hi everyone,

My name is Samantha, Sam for short. I wanted to say hello to everyone. I see there are some fellow Maryland people attending the con. That's great!

This will be my first T-Mode. I'm already excited to attend. Funny thing is that I don't have a lock on everything yet. I may be an adult but that doesn't mean work, family and life in general don't try to put obstacles around every turn. Still I plan on going even if I have to tie myself to the roof of the MARC train (of course, I'll buy a ticket instead; less dangerous and less chance of ruining my hair).

I'm hoping to purchase a Shion Uzuki from Xenosaga cosplay before the con (and what a heck of a coincidence that they're previewing it this year!), but even if I can't I'll be roaming the dealers room and sitting in the theater room enjoying what will be offered, whether I'm in regular clothes or my Misato from Evangelion cosplay (the standard backup costume).

I love Japanese Anime (Evangelion, Sailor Moon, anyone..?). I absolutely love Japanese music too and look forward to trying some of the stuff I haven't heard before like The Captains. I ordered one of their CDs recently so I can get a little more familiar with them. I like Final Fantasy and plan to poke my head in at the ball to see all the lovely costumes (I'm too shy to dance, plus there is that problem that I... can't dance).

I never usually do these introduction forums, but I thought what the heck. T-mode has already been very sweet to me, answering my questions when I send them and being understanding over the whole Video Games Live ordeal I couldn't attend (thanks again Mr. Stuckey and I hope that ticket went to good use for another fan). The staff is even entertaining my idea of showing some Hayao Miyazaki films in the theater (what can I say I just love My Neighbor Totoro and Princess Mononoke and think all anime fans should see them just once).

Well, you've heard enough of my ramblings.

Have a great day and con everyone!
Sam

Hi Sam!

I'm glad to see you found your way to our forums. Thanks for such kind words and don't worry about having to return the Video Games Live Ticket. I've got a replacement prize in the mail to you so watch your mail box! Wink

Thanks for finding your way to our con.
