Guidelines to be an Official T-MODE Final Fantasy Cosplayer

T-MODE, a new anime & gaming convention in Arlington, VA, is looking for cosplayers to serve as Official Final Fantasy Cosplayers for our Final Fantasy Masquerade Ball. (Now that's a tongue twister!) An official cosplayer is identified as someone who is selected by the convention to represent a FF character. Any character from the entire series is eligible, but spaces are limited as we want to avoid repeat characters.

Here's what you have to do:

1. Email programming[at]tmode.org with the character you want to be and up to 3 pictures of yourself in costume. One of the images must be a full body shot.

2. You need to remain "in character" during the ball. This means you'll pose for pictures and sign autographs as the character you're portraying.

3. You must pre-register for the convention if you're approved. It's the only way we can guarantee your participation and to make sure that we don't have repeat characters.

For participating, your name and photo will be listed in the programming book as an official FF cosplayer. Just send in your info and we'll let you know if the character you want to be is taken or not. Again, the character remains an open slot until you pre-register. There are still open slots for several major popular characters.

To avoid confusion, repeat FF characters are fine if you just want to attend the ball. It's also not required to only be a FF character if you just want to come, and you can cosplay as any character from any series you like (Bleach, Death Note, etc.). But FF characters will be eligible to win prizes.
